Credit Controller - Bracknell - Up to £27k
A highly successful building services company in Bracknell are looking for an experienced Credit Controller.
This role will be working in a friendly, motivated finance team and you will be tasked with daily cash collection and maintaining the sales ledger.
Duties:
- Chasing payment of overdue accounts via phone, email, and letter
- Reducing debt in accordance with pre-agreed
- Dealing with queries both internally and externally to ensure smooth & timely
- Completing daily banking (BACS & Cheques) to include identification, posting and
- Taking and processing credit card
- Reconciliation of accounts where payments have been mis-posted.
- 'Ownership' of ledger, ensuring that any issues are progressed / escalated
- Reviewing ledger regularly with manager to highlight any problems and agree targets and action going
Experience:
- Previous experience of cash collecting and managing sales ledgers
- IT literate i.e., Sage, SAP, Access Dimensions
- Good team player and a strong attention to detail
