Financial Controller - London - Up to £65k
A dynamic and entrepreneurial supply chain, pricing and financing services company are looking for a Financial Controller.
This role would suit someone looking for their first role in industry from practice.
Role:
- Involved in the preparation of monthly board management accounts, quarterly board pack and annual financial statements.
- Contribute during annual audit from engagement through to sign off.
- Liaise with tax team to ensure accurate tax accounting and compliance.
- Overview of routine transactional processes such as VAT, ensuring new developments are considered and assisting junior staff when necessary.
- Responsible for all aspects of accounting and compliance for several smaller entities.
- Overview of the daily FX process including high level review.
- Preparation of various ad hoc finance presentations and reports throughout the year.
- Contribution to maintenance of full trial balance of a dynamic trading entity.
- Interaction with international finance controllers/accountants.

Experience required:
- ACA with 2 years PQE
- Great relationship builder, motivated to make improvements
- Thorough knowledge of UK/IFRS accounting principles and procedures
- Strong general computer/IT and system skills .
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Good PowerPoint and Word skills.
