Senior Risk & Audit Analyst (EMEA) - Up to £55k - Swindon/Remote
A world leading technology company are looking for an experienced Risk & Audit Analyst to join them on an 18-month contract assignment.
The successful candidate will help shape and drive the risk management agenda for the sales and marketing organisation for Europe, Middle East and Africa, working alongside the EMEA Risk and Controls team, as well as counterparts in other regions and HQ.
Duties:
- Help shape the charter and imperatives of the risk and controls team, defining specific initiatives and coaching others to deliver to those imperatives
- Supervise the day-to-day activities of the risk and controls team to ensure key tasks are executed flawlessly
- Perform risk assessments and test of controls
- Partner with both EMEA and global compliance teams to help implement code of conduct, as well as various internal policies and procedures
- Project manage the implementation of AI and advanced analytics solutions to improve risk management processes
- Ensure appropriate financial controls and business processes are in place to protect the assets of the corporation
Qualifications:
- An accounting and finance professional qualification, MBA or in the process of attaining a relevant qualification
- Working knowledge of PowerBI, SAP and Microsoft Office suite
- Previous experience in a risk management, internal audit or external audit role
- Working knowledge of Python and/or other data science tools
- Strong organisational development and management skills
- Experience in most aspects of financial operations required, along with proven influence and strategic thinking capabilities
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
